James Baldwin
SQL and SharePoint Solutions Engineering Lead for a company called EMC.

Ex-support guy turned solutions engineer.  On the side of the customer.

Devels deeply into technologies, figures them out and hunts down the insitgators of the bad ones, screaming “MIB” …doesn’t stand for Men in black, it stands for Make…It…Better…

Never got used to console joysticks, still like playing old PC games, give me a Keyboard and Mouse ANY day.
Everything I say in my posts in my opinion, what I understand may even be true.

    Hello James,

I remember speaking with you during some Replication Manager issues regarding license and stuff 2 or 3 years ago.

It was nice to find you’re blog, it’s very good.

Good luck in your new position (although you already changed in 2007)

    Regards,

    Dírio

      Thanks Dirio! Appreciate it!
Well any questions or topics you think I should cover, of course, outside of SharePoint too – let me know and I will be glad to help!

I know James professionally as we both work for the same company, based out of two geographical locations. Though we have not met each other, but we had few eamil exchanges while working together on a solution at EMC Proven Lab. He is highly technical and result oriented guy on SharePoint and SQL technologies (I have worked with him only on SharePoint technologies, he might be great on other areas as well). One of the incident I remember that his byte level analysis on SharePoint data management and storage has proven to be incontestable for MS Engnieers, which later MS was bound to release a HotFix for a performance related issue of SharePoint 2007.

James – Nice to see you here.
